First day of the school hols, a fantastic trip to the zoo.
It was a very successful trip this time - no rain, Glory generally looked at the right things, napped at the right time, and we managed to catch all the animal shows!
Ended up with a terribly painful back, but it is a joy to get a strained back when that strained back is a result of having too much fun with people i love!!!
Glory and her favourite playmate! She's always so excited to see Papa! =)
Find a man who's good with kids, and chances are, you've got a good man =)
Glory and Godma... some say there's a resemblance! ;)
Glory and PoPo
Glory in her new swimsuit and hat! All ready for Water Play
As i lay in bed this morning, i felt very very thankful!
And not just because i could sleep in till 8am.
I am thankful that my loved ones are safe and healthy, that they are near me physically and in my heart.
I am thankful that i had the privilege of spending a whole day with my baby, my hubby, my mummy and my pecky ;)
i am thankful that God has provided and is providing for everything we need- and we always have more than enough.
i am thankful that i have a meaningful job.
i am thankful that i have a fantastic husband, and a beautiful baby girl.
Speaking of my baby, she's also a very funny girl.
She has a new hobby - crawling through "tunnels".
She loves crawling under chairs and tables, and even discovers the strangest "tunnels":
Our arms, when we sit on the floor and lean back.
The little space between our legs when we stand.
The nook between the floor and the back of our knees....
She squeezes herself through each tunnel with determination and gravity. Even if the space is obviously too small, she nudges her way through with her head, then smiles with satisfaction after each conquest. =)
And she still enjoys plucking Papa's leg hair.
Papa was in pain and asked for help, so i helpfully pointed out to Glory that it's not just the legs that are hairy.
She took to it very quickly. Of coz we made sure Papa's freshly bathed =)Like i said, always make sure you find a man who's good with kids. *hearts*
